Oude Libertas is a vibrant cultural and community centre, set in the historic Winelands in Stellenbosch.

Through the collaborative visions of its partners Oude Libertas offers visitors a collection of creative artistic and lifestyle expressions as well as a vital insight into community development initiatives.

The open-air Amphitheatre annually hosts top entertainment at its summer season which runs from November to March. The Auditorium seats 80 people and is suited for conferences, workshops and intimate functions. The Function Hall can accommodate up to 400 people and looks out on beautiful vineyards and mountains. On Saturdays between 9:00-14:00 the Stellenbosch Fresh Goods Market sells scrumptious delectable’s, clothes, jewellery and a variety of interesting fresh produce.
